Our Guide will introduce you to the extraordinary splendour of one of most renowned, historical and photographed squares and palaces in the world. Piazza della Signoria with the sculptural masterpieces under the Loggia della Signoria, by Cellini and Giambologna.

It is an incomparable open-air museum and the elegant Palazzo della Signoria with its soaring tower has been the political headquarters and one of the symbols of the city for centuries.
It was founded in 1299, designed by Arnolfo di Cambio and was the seat of the elected lords (Signori) of the Republic (Palazzo della Signoria) in the fourteenth century.

After the Medici conquered Florence in 1530, it remained the political headquarters of the town, as it is to this day, and in the 1540s Duke Cosimo de’ Medici appointed Vasari to transform it into a sumptuous abode for his family; when the Medici family moved to Palazzo Pitti, they called it Palazzo Vecchio (Old Palace).

Entering the building, one encounters the exquisitely elegant courtyard, the magnificent Hall of the Five Hundred and the intriguing complex of the Monumental Residential Quarters, frescoed by Ghirlandaio, Salviati, Bronzino and Vasari, as well as the statues by Michelangelo and Donatello.
After this visit Now you will explore the enological traditions of Tuscany in an o ld and fashionable Florentine Enoteca located in the heart of the florentine old town, a stone's throw away from the Duomo.

In the unique area where tastings are held, where ancient vaults and wooden beams frame an incredible selection of grappe, whiskeys and cognac, it is possible to sit, relax and chat while having a superb glass of wine and nibble on a cured meats and tuscan cheeses platters!

Going downstairs, you will discover the wine cellar: a hall of about 300mq where the perfect temperature and humidity to preserve wines, blending with a wisely selected lighting, create the perfect environment to admire over 2500 different labels of wines coming from all over Italy with an entire room dedicated Tuscany, displayed in wooden and terracotta  structures.
Here clients would have the opportunity to get the typical Wine tasting with the 3 most famous traditional Tuscan Wines:

- Chianti Classico
- Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
- Brunello di Montalcino
… Clients would be served in "Cantina" sitting around a typical wood tino table where they will find special glasses of wines with labels showing the names, grappe harvests years .
A dedicated person would make special detailed presentation about the flavors and about the tuscan culture of wine harvest especially reflected to the wines in tasting.
There would be also a detailed map showing the areas where the wines come from to focus the magnitude of the vineyards areas.

The wine tasting would be spoused to a special tasted of Tuscan specialties (cheese, salami, crostini toscani e bruschette with fresh tomato & extravirgin olive oil) presented in a nice typical chopping board . To be able to explain also which kind of grapefruit it's now used to make the best Tuscan Classic Chianti Wine (no more the white berry but just with the black one).
